Truck driver by trade, author by accident. I write fiction, collect gloriously bad jokes, and find stories somewhere between the open road and the next delivery.
Behind the byline
Most days, I’m behind the wheel of a 10-car transporter, moving vehicles around New Zealand’s South Island. Writing grew in the spaces between runs—one-liners, odd ideas, and stories that refused to stay parked.
My work runs in two very different lanes: deliberately bad jokes and fiction. One is built for instant laughs and enthusiastic groans; the other gives me room to slow down, build a world, and see where the characters take it.
